About Us
The idea for creating WEIRD KULT began in 2019 when the couple, Josefine and Mikl, found more and more gothic clothes in the local second-hand stores and at the same time had outgrown some of their own. This collided with the frustration over the general (very high) price levels and tendencies to outsource production to China (and other Asian countries) in gothic fashion.

Getting thoughts into action
And so the idea came along; what if we could make a store selling second-hand and (if possible) locally produced gothic clothes and products, and combine this with Josefine's sewing skills and Mikl's graphic design skills? And WEIRD KULT was born!
We aim to be as green (but still black, of course) as possible, that's why the whole store is vegan and most of the products are either made in Denmark, Europe or is second-hand. We also reuse packaging cardboard boxes (from other companies) for bigger orders.
We always seek to improve and look out for new possible business partners who can make us even greener.
The name is a comical response to many non-goth people's idea of goths being members of some weird satanic cult. We take it as a compliment and let them live in the presumption.
We've added a Danish touch to the name by spelling 'cult' the Danish way.
